That’s the founding principle of Infersens and our ground-breaking water-sensing technology. Developed in response to a user need, the team began working on combining smart sensors, edge processing, and intelligent building management systems in 2016.
Today, our unique, patent-pending technology can detect the precise flow and temperature of water without cutting through pipes, or requiring a mains power connection.
The system provides an intelligent and comprehensive view of complex water systems, supporting sustainability and saving operators money.

We have won several high-profile awards for our technology, including being named an Innovation Alley winner and winner of 21toWatch
We have benefitted from support and funding from Innovate UK and seed investors. These achievements have enabled us to strengthen our leadership and technology development team and launch our first product, Cortense. Cortense is an essential device for the reliable and compliant management of waterborne pathogens such as Legionella in the built environment.
